Terms & Conditions

Last updated: January 2026

Welcome to H7 Bespoke. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website and services. By accessing this website and/or commissioning our services, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use H7 Bespoke's website or services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Definitions

In these terms and conditions:

  • "H7 Bespoke," "we," "us," or "our" refers to H7 Bespoke, a bespoke furniture and joinery business based at 32 Racecourse Road, Gallowfields Trading Estate, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 4TG.
  • "Client," "you," or "your" refers to the person or entity commissioning our services or using our website.
  • "Commission" refers to any bespoke furniture, joinery, or related work agreed upon between H7 Bespoke and the client.

2. Quotations & Pricing

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices quoted are based on the specifications provided at the time of quotation. Any changes to specifications may result in price adjustments.
  • All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • Delivery and installation costs will be quoted separately where applicable.

3. Payment Terms

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm your commission and commence work.
  • The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to delivery or installation.
  • For larger projects, staged payments may be agreed upon in writing.
  • Payment can be made by bank transfer or other methods agreed upon in advance.
  • Late payments may incur interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate.

4. Design & Approval Process

  • Initial designs and concept sketches will be provided based on your requirements.
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving all designs before work commences.
  • Once designs are approved in writing and a deposit is paid, any subsequent changes may incur additional charges.
  • Material samples can be provided upon request to assist with your decision.

5. Lead Times & Delivery

  • Lead times will be provided with your quotation and are estimates based on current workload.
  • We will keep you informed of progress and notify you promptly of any delays.
  • Delivery dates are not guaranteed and H7 Bespoke shall not be liable for any losses arising from delays beyond our reasonable control.
  • You are responsible for ensuring adequate access for delivery and installation.

6. Materials & Natural Variations

  • We use responsibly sourced, high-quality materials. Natural materials such as wood will vary in grain, colour, and character—this is inherent to their beauty and not considered a defect.
  • Resin colours may have slight variations between batches. We will endeavour to match samples as closely as possible.
  • Wood may expand or contract slightly with changes in humidity and temperature. This is normal behaviour and not covered under warranty.

7. Warranty

  • All commissioned pieces come with a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery/installation.
  • The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
  • The warranty does not cover: damage caused by misuse, neglect, or accidents; normal wear and tear; natural wood movement; unauthorised modifications or repairs; commercial use unless specifically agreed.
  • To make a warranty claim, contact us with photographs and a description of the issue.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

Bespoke Commissions

  • Once a deposit is paid and work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable.
  • If you wish to cancel after work has started, you will be liable for all costs incurred to date, including materials purchased.
  • As bespoke pieces are made to order specifically for you, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to commissioned work.

Ready-Made Items (H7 Shop)

  • Ready-made items purchased from our Shop are covered by a 14-day returns policy under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Items must be returned unused and in their original condition.
  • Return postage for faulty, damaged, or not as described items will be covered by H7 Bespoke.
  • If you simply change your mind, return postage is at your own cost.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

9. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, drawings, and specifications created by H7 Bespoke remain our intellectual property.
  • We reserve the right to photograph completed work for our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • You may not reproduce our designs or commission third parties to replicate our work without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the commission in question.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
